Separated by nine years in leaving Russia, friends Ira, a filmmaker who fled political persecution in 2013, and Tasya, an animation student who left with her anti-war parents in February 2022, reunite to confront the invisible yet devastating effects of an authoritarian regime on lives, identities, and friendships while trying to reconnect to the country that both harmed and shaped them.
